Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Bow Tie Paper Clips

Once again, I am sharing a tutorial from Jessica's blog, HowAboutOrange, as part of our series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas. This one is for bow tie paper clips which can be used for bookmarks, hair clips, pins, and more. The tute is here, at this link.

For those of us who do not sew, but who love fabrics, this is a great reason to buy some remnants or scrap fabric. It is also a way to recycle the pretty or intriguing fabric from clothing just before you toss it away. It is also a great way to save a piece of a fave wearable.

These are very easy to make. They work well as stocking stuffers, token gifts for everyone on your last-minute gift list, and more. I hope to make a batch of these and tuck them in a container for on-the-spot unexpected gifts.

Depending on the fabric, you should be able to please everyone - men, women, and children alike.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway (deadline Oct 31) for $25 in handcrafted merchandise from my Etsy store.
